I didn’t find The Red Thread of reality. The Red Thread of reality found me.

Since a young age, I have always felt connected to humour, play, lightness and irreverence. So much so, that in my 20s I spent two years training full time at the world’s most famous clown school: Ecole Phillipe Gaulier.

Clown is the practice of continually finding the game and the pleasure in everything. I didn’t know it then, but I was training myself in embodied pleasure. And in the non-dual concept of being able to be deeply in pain and joy at the same time.

After clown school, I immersed myself in the world of Neo-tantra. Once again, The Red Thread of Pleasure was a core theme. Except this time, it was found through sensuality and sexuality; a different flavour of embodied pleasure.

After some disillusionment with the Neo-tantra world, fate led me to the work of Carolyn Elliott and Existential Kink. It felt as though I was receiving the deeper occult and psychological teachings that my previous interest in non-duality had been pointing to.

This, combined with studying pre-patriarchal goddess lineage that centre embodied pleasure sealed the deal for me in terms of my calling.

My life is now a moment by moment embodiment my passion for this subject. I love to weave pleasure into life, without spiritually bypassing what is hard, gritty, systemic and tragic about life too.

It takes a high level of integration to do both, but I believe cultivating authentic non-dual pleasure and play might be what gives us the capacity to simultaneously process much of our systemic shadow.

My work is playful, political and seriously unserious.
